President of the Republic of Rwanda, His Excellency Paul Kagame is the first-ever Rwandan President to visit the Republic of Kazakhstan. This was before formal establishment of diplomatic relations between Rwanda and Kazakhstan which started with the accreditation of Rwanda’s first ambassador to Kazakhstan who presented his letters of credence in November 2016.
Consultations between two countries continue and several bilateral agreements and Memorandum of Understanding are being discussed at the Embassy and Ministrial levels with the objective to create legal frameworks for cooperation in various matters both in public and private sectors.
