Requirements

• Submit Power of Attorney to the Consular office;
• Indicate the reason for the PoA, address, telephone, email & relationship of the person giving the authority
• A passport or Rwandan ID if possible;
• Proof of ownership of property such as land title, bank A/C, vehicle docs etc…
• Passport or ID copy of the person giving powers;
• Proof of residence or visiting visa;
• Signing of PoA is done at the Embassy in the witness of the Consular Diplomat;
• However, in case of a Rwandan who couldn’t make it to travel to the Embassy, he/she has to sign PoA in legally recognized Notary office in the country of residence under the jurisdiction & be approved by the MFA of that country, then after send PoA to the Embassy for legalization.
